We then connect a portion of a thin arch wire to them with a band. Our team may also connect the upper and lower sets of teeth with additional bands. We then adjust tension in these wires to begin shifting your teeth into proper position. The process takes about two years on average, but can offer an even and healthier smile, even if you assume your alignment concerns are too severe to be treated!
ClearCorrect™ Aligners
For our teen and adult patients with more minor cases of dental misalignment, we could help with a series of custom orthodontic aligners. The ClearCorrect™ system doesn’t require the use of metal braces or wires. Instead, we will take detailed images and measurements of your smile with advanced imaging technology. In a lab setting, experts will use these images and measurements to design and craft your aligners from a clear and BPA-free acrylic material. Treatment involves wearing a set for about 20 to 22 hours a day on average, for about two weeks. You then continue to do the same for the rest of the aligners in the series, until you see optimal results. This could be possible in as little as one year for some patients!
